Mizzou Association of Venue Managers is a student organization that is focused on hard work, dedication, and helping students develop professionally. Throughout our semesters in existence, we have brought multiple networking opportunities to our students including tours and panel discussions at venues such as Sporting Park, Busch Stadium, Ballpark Village, and Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Sprint Center, Kauffman Stadium, Kauffman Center for Performing Arts, and Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Bridgestone Arena, and Vanderbilt University Athletics Department in Nashville, and US Cellular Field, Wrigley Field, Soldier Field in Chicago, University of Memphis, FedEx Forum, The Liberty Bowl and more! In addition to meeting professionals at these locations we have also established relationships which have brought about internship opportunities and volunteer opportunities. While we enjoy providing opportunities like these to our members, we also focus on professional development and giving back to our community. We have taken part in philanthropic events, have offered programs to our members to become Certified Crowd Managers, and learn tips and tricks for things such as resumés, interviews, and social media usage.
